Jesus knew that losing heart and ceasing to pray would be a challenge for his people living in a fallen world. When we are worn down by sin, injustice, and hardship, we can view God as an unjust judge. But God isn't like the unjust judge—he is our patient and loving Father who always delights to hear from us and never gets tired of hearing our prayers. He always sees us, knows us, and cares for us; and he will most certainly give justice to his elect. With the assurance that God will give us justice, we (the church and as individuals) can ask God where he is inviting us to move into places of injustice and brokenness to witness to his coming kingdom until he returns.
