Healthy community requires healthy habits of attitude, word and action. Here Paul highlights three broad categories: How you relate to leaders, how you treat difficult people, and how you feel about gathering with other Christians. Thankfully, Paul reminds us in v. 23-24, God is more committed to our whole-person transformation than we are, and “he who calls you is faithful, and he will surely do it.” Practicing these habits, then, is about joining God in his work, motivated and empowered by “the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ” (v. 28).
